Synful Delightz was born in 2021 during one of the darkest seasons of my life — a time when I felt lost, broken, and uncertain. But even in that season, God began stirring something sweet inside of me. Through mixing, creating, and baking, He reminded me that every day with Him it truly does get sweeter and sweeter.

The seed for this dream was actually planted years earlier — back in 2005 — by my late Aunt Tina Barefield, who told me to invest in myself. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what she meant, but her words stayed with me. And years later, when life felt heavy and directionless, God used that seed she planted to remind me that my gifts were already within me.

What started as a simple escape soon became a ministry of love and grace. Every cupcake, cake, and treat I make is a reflection of His goodness — proof that God can turn even our mess into something meaningful.

The name Synful Delightz came from my own testimony. For a long time, I was delighting in the wrong things — following the world instead of the Word. But after surrendering to God and earning my Christian Counseling Certification, He gave me a new recipe for life: one filled with purpose, peace, and His presence.

Now, every dessert that comes from my kitchen carries a piece of that redemption story — a sweet reminder that even when life feels heavy, God’s grace is always rising.

So when you taste a Synful Delightz treat, I hope you feel the love, the faith, and the joy baked into every bite. Because for me, baking isn’t just about sugar and butter — it’s about healing, hope, and a testimony shared one dessert at a time.
